In the book The world atlas of mysteries by Frances Hitching there is a belief that our Earth has a basic harmonic symmetry that is very ancient. Socrates told his pupil Simmias the Earth viewed from above is supposed to look like one of those balls made out of 12 pieces of skin sewed together. Some 2000 years later in the 1960's 3 Russian scientists had the idea of re-examining the globe to see if any pattern should emerge linking significant places in history, it did.
Ancient civilisations built their early religious centres at key intersections e.g.. Northern Mongolia, Peru, Egypt and Easter Island to name a few.
